Deccan Odyssey
The Deccan Odyssey transports you to an unforgettable itinerary of a land covered by serene beaches and magnificent forts & palaces. The train covers the 2,200 km distance; it leaps through Konkan, Goa, Pune, Aurangabad, Ajanta and Ellora, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri and Nashik in its seven-day itinerary. Also Ganapatipule, known for its finest beaches; Tarkali, a beautiful village on the shores of Arabian Sea are included in this train journey.
Day 01 Mumbai
Arrive into Mumbai. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Mumbai.
Day 02 Mumbai (B)
Morning at leisure. Afternoon transfer to Railway station to Board Deccan Odyssey. Overnight on Train.
Day 03 Ratnagiri (B, L, D)
Arrive at Bhoke Railway Station and departure for Raj Jetty. Boat ride from Raj Jetty to Jaigad Jetty. From there drive to Ganpatipule Resort along sea side road. Enjoy cultural program followed by Lunch at Ganpatipule Resort. Later in the day drive to Ratnagiri and board on Train. Overnight on Train.
Day 04 Sindhudurg (B, L, D)
Arrive Sindhudurg Nagari. Visit Sindhudurg Fort. Later on drive to Tarakarli. Enjoy cultural program followed by Lunch at Tarakarli Beach. After lunch boat cruise in Tarakarli Creek upto Walaval. Dinner and overnight on Train.
Day 05 Goa (B, L, D)
Arrive at Karmali Station. Morning city sightseeing tour of Goa visiting Basillica of Bom Jesus, Cathedral Church and St. Francis of Assisi-. Dinner and overnight on Train.
Day 06 Pune (B, L, D)
Arrival at Pune, visit Kelkar Museum, Shaniwarwada Synagogue and Agakhan Palace. Dinner and overnight on Train.
Day 07 Aurangabad (B, L, D)
Arrive Aurangabad Railway Station. Full day city Sightseeing tour of Aurangabad. Dinner and overnight on Train.
Day 08 Ajanta & Nasik (B, L, D)
Arrival at Jalgaon and then drive to A/c Coach to Ajanta Caves. Explore Ajanta Caves and then drive down to Jalgaon Railway Station and proceed for Nasik. Farewell dinner and overnight on board and proceed for Mumbai.
Day 09 Mumbai (B)
Arrival at Mumbai and transfer to Hotel. Half day city Sightseeing tour of Mumbai visiting Prince of Wales Museum, Mani Bhawan and Gateway of India. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10 Mumbai (B)
Morning take an excursion to Elephanta Caves. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at Hotel. Later in the evening transfer to International airport to connect flight back home.
